Follow-up sequences now understand the full conversation lifecycle

A follow-up is not just one generated email.

Nudge now tracks what happens after a draft is created and can continue managing the opportunity through the rest of the conversation.

The improved lifecycle

An opportunity can now move through states such as:

  • Ready for review

  • Draft created

  • Waiting for send

  • Waiting for reply

  • Follow-up due

  • Replied

  • Completed

  • Paused for review

Nudge also tracks how many follow-ups have already been created for an opportunity and respects the follow-up limit available on your plan.

For plans that support continuing until a reply, Nudge can keep the opportunity active while still applying internal safety limits.

Why this matters

Sequences are now based on the actual state of the conversation rather than simply generating another email after a timer expires.

The goal is to make Nudge feel less like a reminder tool and more like an assistant that understands where each open loop currently stands.
